Bernie Kelm
Branch Head, Naval Research LaboratoryMr. Bernard Kelm is an aerospace engineer and head of the Dynamics and Control Systems Branch in the Spacecraft Engineering Division at the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory (NRL). NRL’s space robotics research and development activities are a significant technology component under development in Mr. Kelm’s branch, which has contributed extensive knowledge to DARPA’s RSGS program. Mr. Kelm is part of the NRL leadership team on the RSGS program, serving as NRL Deputy Program Manager. Mr. Kelm has spent nearly two decades working as part of the team maturing the technologies needed for satellite servicing and has performed extensive evaluation of servicing for U.S. government satellites.
