Rene Fradet

Former Chief Financial Officer, NASA JPL - retired

Mr. René Fradet retired from NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in August of 2020.  Prior to his retirement he was the Chief Financial Officer and Manager of Laboratory Operations Integration. Mr. Fradet has over 36 years of experience in the space industry. During his career at JPL, he held several engineering and leadership positions on the Galileo, Cassini, DS1 and Mars Science Laboratory projects as well as the Director of the Engineering and Science Directorate. Mr. Fradet was the co-founder and President/CEO of Alliance Spacesystems Inc. which developed the robotic arms for several Mars missions. Mr. Fradet is a recipient of the NASA Exceptional Service Medal and the NASA Outstanding Leadership Award.
