Robert AmbroseDivision Chief, NASA JSCRobert Ambrose received his Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin in Mechanical Engineering and his M.S. and B. S. degrees from Washington University in St. Louis. He has worked as a researcher in academia (Texas), an engineer at an FFRDC (MITRE), and as a Project Leader at a startup company (Metrica). Now with NASA, Dr. Ambrose is a member of the Senior Executive Service, serving as the Chief of the Software, Robotics and Simulation Division at NASA’s Johnson Space Center. Dr. Ambrose was elected to the National Academy of Engineering, and is the Vice President of the IEEE-RAS.
