Thomas Pittman

Assistant Director, NASA GSFC

Mr. Pittman has been with NASA for 30 years, serving as Range Commander of NASA’s launch range at Wallops for 15 of those years.  He was a member of the Agency’s Technical Capabilities Assessment and Business Services Assessment Core Teams, and with the current Agency OSAM Lead, helped formulate the OSAM National Initiative.  Prior to serving at NASA, Mr. Pittman worked at the National Security Agency.  He is a graduate of Virginia Tech (Computer Science and Mathematics).  He is married and has three children. ​
